About the Role

">

This 'Department of One' will work closely with the Corporate HR Department on various matters and projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • ">
  • Perform daily time and attendance updates and process payroll on a weekly basis">
  • Process new hires, promotions, and terminations, exit interviews, and other administrative tasks">
  • Help set the tone for corporate culture of accountability, open communication, and inclusion of all employees">
  • Prepare plant communications, announcements, and compile data and reports for department managers">
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws and treat all employees uniformly through efficient administration of company policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives">
  • Plan and coordinate Company activities, events, and meetings">
  • Lead and manage the recruitment, interviewing, and selection process for all manufacturing positions within the facility, conduct new hire orientations/onboarding activities, attend job fairs, and community-related recruiting events">
  • Administer the Family Medical Leave Act and Workers' Compensation programs">
  • Perform I-9 Management including completion of forms, updates, and auditing">
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees for support requests">
  • Administer and oversee plant compensation and performance evaluation programs">
  • Administer benefits programs to include claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees">

What We're Looking For

">

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business Administration, or a related field, and 2+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment. SHRM certification and previous experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or Workforce Manager are preferred. Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices, creative thinking, excellent organization and communication skills, ability to build relationships, and effective time management skills are essential.

Compensation Package

">

A competitive base salary of approximately $65,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, includes a quarterly Gainsharing bonus program where you can earn up to one week of additional pay every quarter. Other benefits include four medical plan offerings, an extensive network of providers, a prescription drug plan, dental plan, vision coverage, health and dependent care FSA's, paid vacation and personal time, 11 company-paid holidays, company-paid life insurance, supplemental life for employees and dependents, company-paid short and long-term disability programs, an educational assistance plan, dependent scholarship program, and employee assistance program. A 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with a 4% Company match is also available.

Work Environment

">

This position is located in Jasper, TN, and requires occasional travel to nearby areas. Regular working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day. Please note that this role may be subject to overtime during peak production periods.
