Job Summary:

Catertoyoufoodservice is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef Manager to lead our culinary team in Staten Island. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and expectations of our clients
  • Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and implement culinary strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive culinary management experience, preferably in a high-volume kitchen
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft products and other relevant software applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent
  • Safe serve or department of health certification
  • Experience with menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
