Catertoyoufoodservice is seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef Manager to lead our culinary team in Staten Island. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and expectations of our clients
- Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to develop and implement culinary strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive culinary management experience, preferably in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft products and other relevant software applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent
- Safe serve or department of health certification
- Experience with menu planning, inventory management, and kitchen operations
