Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Management Team in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Team in managing daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
  • Lead a team of employees to achieve sales and profitability goals, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, and that quality is maintained at all times.
  • Assist with training and development of employees, including new hire training and ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to achieve company goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a fast-casual or casual dining environment.
  • Required state alcohol-server and Manager food certifications.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week and work flexible hours to manage and operate the restaurant effectively.
  • Competency of basic computer functions.
  • An understanding of training and development concepts.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and lead a team of employees.
  • Bilingual proficiency desired.
