Sign Language Interpreter

We are seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team at Sorenson Communications. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will provide high-quality interpretation services to Deaf and hearing individuals in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively interpret between American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude
- Work effectively in a team environment and receive support from colleagues
- Enhance interpreting skills through continuing education and training
- Maintain compliance with national, state, or local licensure and/or certification requirements
Requirements:
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities in ASL
- Ability to pass our required skills assessment
- A high school diploma or GED
- An associate's or bachelor's degree (preferred, but not required)
- Interpreter certification
- 3 years' experience working as an interpreter (preferred, but not required)
