We are seeking a high-performing Sales Operations Consultant to drive sales strategy and growth within our Employee Benefits Solutions segment. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with sales leadership, directors, and account executives to facilitate go-to-market plans, lead generation, and sales success.

About the Role

This strategic position involves supporting go-to-market plans, driving effective account planning strategies, and maintaining operational best practices that lead to sales success and growth. You will also be responsible for:

  • Supporting RFP opportunities and serving as a subject matter expert to review and respond to complex questions and opportunities.
  • Coordinating across multiple teams and roles to support opportunities within the pipeline for your region.
  • Tracking outcomes and assessing effectiveness of sales strategies within your territory.
  • Working directly with high-profile strategic partners and vendors to execute proactive outreach and respond to client needs and escalations.
Responsibilities

In addition to the above responsibilities, this role requires:

  • Presenting to channel partners and clients and participating in prospecting and promotional events via onsite and virtual attendance.
  • Partnering with market leadership to support development and distribution of marketing materials, training, and reference materials related to products, sales concepts, and planning strategies.
  • Managing accurate and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization.
  • Maintaining accountability for the development and documentation of sales best practices and materials that support sales execution.
  • Supporting the enablement of Salesforce and other technologies that enable sales and underwriting teams.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years previous experience in a group benefits role that aligns with the responsibilities of this position.
  • Knowledge of sales concepts and planning strategies.
  • A successful track record of supporting client and channel partner relationships.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable providing internal and external training.
  • Strong organization, time management, and planning skills to manage multiple priorities, meet established deadlines, work under pressure, and manage diverse requests.
  • Ability to handle cyclical work volumes with a pleasant and professional demeanor.
  • Comfortable analyzing data across sources and sharing insights.
  • Robust relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate and drive results.
Preferred Qualifications

The following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with sales enablement processes and technology.

Estimated Salary Range

$69,500.00 - $129,000.00 per year, depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc.
