Weekend RN Supervisor Job Description

At CHSGa, we're seeking a skilled and compassionate Weekend RN Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing the day-to-day functions of the licensed and unlicensed nursing staff.
  • Admit, discharge, and transfer patients as requested.
  • Document and bill patients as necessary.
  • Send patients to the hospital as needed.
  • Develop work assignments for unlicensed staff.
  • Maintain effective lines of communication with attending physicians.
  • Assist in coordinating care planning and MDS processes.
  • Participate in patient screening and selection processes.
  • Assist in monitoring physician services and follow-up on consultant recommendations.
  • Provide education and training to licensed and unlicensed staff.
  • Complete documentation procedures on patients.
  • Communicate with physicians, arrange transportation, and contact families as needed.
  • Demonstrate effective supervisory skills and administer corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide reports and documentation to support departmental updates and corrective actions.
  • Assist in interviewing, screening, and selecting associates.
  • Maintain personnel file documentation and respond to complaints and grievances.
  • Establish effective inter-departmental communication and promote a positive working relationship.
  • Monitor licensed and unlicensed staff for compliance with established procedural guidelines and protocols.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of current licensure standards and the survey process.
Requirements:
  • A Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or an approved RN program.
  • Active RN License to practice in the State of Georgia.

We offer a competitive salary range of $40 to $47 per hour, plus shift differentials, management add-on pay, and weekly pay. Our benefits package includes paid time off, 7 paid holidays, vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and a referral bonus program.
