About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to join our team at Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our WMATA project by performing data architecture duties
  • Design and develop data architecture perspectives
  • Develop and implement data warehouse and data lake solutions
  • Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines
  • Perform requirements gathering with business stakeholders
  • Write designs for data architecture of custom solutions
  • Write requirements for ETL and BI developers
  • Intake prioritization, cost/benefit analysis, and decision making
  • End-to-end data pipeline design, security review, architecture, and deployment overview
  • Undertake cloud deployment responsibilities
  • Automate reporting views used by management and executives
  • Problem formulation and analysis
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 10 years' experience as an enterprise architect using the standard architectural framework
  • Enterprise Architecture certification (CEA, TOGAF)
  • Experience performing architecture-related work on at least five (5) IT systems
  • At least 10 years of verifiable experience in design and development of Enterprise Architecture perspectives
  • Experience as an enterprise architect using the standard architectural framework
  • Experience developing Data Architecture perspectives
  • Experience with enterprise architecture repositories and tools
  • Experience interviewing and documenting stakeholder inputs to enterprise architecture projects
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to perform basic financial analysis of business processes
  • Great with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project
  • Proven ability to implement IT governance process improvements
  • Perform high-caliber qualitative and quantitative analyses
  • Ability to meet the requirements of the deliverables listed above
  • Experience in the transit industry
  • Ability to mentor, collaborate, and coordinate with peers, customers, and stakeholders
