Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Fidelity Partners. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing technical laboratory functions, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical laboratory science, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of $32.43/hour, plus comprehensive benefits and outstanding career growth potential.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing technical laboratory functions, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology
  • Reporting test results following clinic protocols and alerting providers and/or nurses about abnormal results
  • Ensuring quality control in collecting specimens, sampling, and maintaining accurate record keeping
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, setting up, calibrating, cleaning, and testing sterility
  • Complying with all laboratory policies and OSHA regulations related to safety, cleanliness, and infection control
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT), or an equivalent Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) certification
  • An associate degree from an accredited college or university in medical laboratory science, medical technology, clinical laboratory, or related science
  • Two years of experience in a health care field that demonstrates your ability to perform the work or provides an understanding of the work, such as a medical or clinical laboratory assistant (or technician) or health technician
  • Two professional references
