About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Fidelity Partners in Columbia, SC.

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary of $32.93/hour.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing technical laboratory functions, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology.

They will also be required to report test results, ensure quality control, and maintain accurate record-keeping.

In addition, they will be responsible for maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, setting up, calibrating, cleaning, and testing sterility of medical laboratory equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of laboratory policies and OSHA regulations related to safety, cleanliness, and infection control.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) or an equivalent certification
  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university in medical laboratory science, medical technology, clinical laboratory, or related science
  • Two years of experience in a healthcare field that demonstrates the ability to perform the work or provides an understanding of the work
