Compensation:

$70,000 - $90,000 yearly

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide essential legal support to Family Law Attorneys within the firm's family law division.
  • Work closely with Senior Family Law Attorneys to ensure seamless assistance.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis as needed.
  • Prepare and file various legal documents, including pleadings, agreements, discovery requests, and responses.
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation by organizing evidence, drafting motions and briefs, and preparing witness lists.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other relevant parties throughout the legal process.
  • Meticulously manage case files and documents, both physically and electronically.
  • Support the preparation for depositions, mediations, and hearings to facilitate legal proceedings.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a family law paralegal is required.
  • Proficient in all aspects of family law, particularly in drafting pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery.
  • Strong research and writing skills are essential.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and legal research software is necessary.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
