Language and Communication Specialist

Stellar Therapy Services is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment where you can customize your schedule and work at your own pace.
The salary for this position is $95,000 per year, with opportunities for overtime pay. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, 401k retirement plan, paid time off, and flexible scheduling options.
In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders. You'll also have the opportunity to consult with teachers and educational professionals, participate in team meetings, and contribute to the development of our therapy programs.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Consultation and Training: Offer consultation and training services to teachers and educational professionals to enhance their understanding of communication disorders and improve student outcomes.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with school policies and professional standards.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other school-based meetings to collaborate with colleagues and ensure students' needs are addressed.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited institution, state licensure or eligibility for licensure, and certification of clinical competence in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Experience working with children with communication disorders in a school-based setting is preferred, but not required.
