As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the department leadership by managing clinical operations within the unit. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating departmental activities and overseeing shift operations.
  • Ensuring that patient care adheres to established quality standards.
  • Facilitating communication between medical staff and the patient care team, fostering collaboration across departments.
  • Supervising nursing staff, authorizing procedures, and delegating tasks effectively.
  • Providing insights and recommendations regarding staff development and performance management.
  • Promoting patient health and safety through adherence to nursing protocols and state regulations.
  • Upholding the organization's mission and core values in all interactions.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following:

Educational Background:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of clinical RN experience is required.

Licensure and Certification:

  • Active RN license in the state of employment.
  • National Nursing Certification in the relevant specialty area.

Physical Demands:

  • Medium Work - Ability to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally, 20 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs constantly.
