Position Overview

The University of Georgia is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Veterinary Assistant at the Pet Health Center. This role is essential in providing comprehensive care for animals under our supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Registered Veterinary Technicians in delivering nursing care and managing patient treatment.
  • Perform daily veterinary assistant tasks, including dental procedures, wound care, and administering medications.
  • Support the training of veterinary students and new staff in various clinical procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stocked.

Qualifications
