About the Role

As a Medical Oncology Sales Representative at Amgen, you will be responsible for providing clinical knowledge of our products to medical professionals and serving as the primary customer contact. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in oncology and experience in sales and marketing.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products to medical professionals.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact and effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits of our products.
  • Create and execute a comprehensive territory plan, including delivering branded sales messages and executing planned programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration.
  • Three or more years of sales and/or marketing experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or medical device industries.
  • Experience in general oncology, lung cancer/thoracic focus, or product/hospital sales experience in oncology, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, and inflammation.
  • Local market knowledge and adaptability with Core Competencies: Planning and Organizing; Leveraging Business, Industry, and Technical Knowledge; Communicating with Impact; Driving for Results; and Cultivating Internal and External Relationships.
