Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Guide and inspire a team of warehouse personnel to achieve high productivity and precision in their tasks.
  • Staff Management: Collaborate with management to assess staffing requirements and allocate responsibilities based on workflow needs.
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise the receipt of materials, inventory management, and order fulfillment while actively participating in these processes to meet operational benchmarks.
  • Safety Compliance: Uphold safety standards and protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all team members.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales and production teams to facilitate seamless operational processes.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintain precise inventory records and oversee cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational enhancements to boost efficiency and accuracy.
  • Training and Development: Onboard new warehouse staff and provide continuous training and mentorship to enhance team performance.
  • Issue Resolution: Address inquiries and resolve any challenges related to order fulfillment.
  • Work Environment Maintenance: Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Project Leadership: Assist in planning and executing departmental improvement initiatives.
  • Problem Solving: Contribute to identifying root causes of operational errors and implementing corrective actions.
  • SOP Development: Aid in the creation and training of standard operating procedures.
  • 5S Implementation: Lead efforts in maintaining workplace organization and cleanliness.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
  • Backup Support: Provide support for various warehouse roles as needed.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate strong focus and the ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Adaptability: Adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project Management: Contribute to timely project completion using project management tools.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Environment: Operate within a professional warehouse setting.
  • Physical Demands: Engage in tasks that may require bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
  • Regular Activities: Frequently required to communicate, stand, walk, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Lifting Capacity: Must be able to lift over 50 pounds consistently.
  • Work Hours: This is a full-time role with typical hours from Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma with 2-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proficient in English, capable of following verbal instructions and performing basic math.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team motivation and development.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management principles and practices.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience operating electric pallet jacks and stand-up reach trucks is preferred.
