About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Epilepsy Program Director to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key leader in our Epilepsy Center, you will oversee our epilepsy and neurophysiology programs, ensuring high-quality care and future program growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the epilepsy and neurophysiology programs, ensuring high-quality care and future program growth.
  • Participate in the teaching of neurology residents and epilepsy fellows.
  • Staff a 12-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, Fast Access Neurology clinics, and read LTVM/EEG studies.
  • Lead several epilepsy subspecialty clinical programs, including ketogenic diet, genetic epilepsy, infantile spasms/epileptic encephalopathy, psychogenic non-epileptic events (PNEE), and epilepsy surgery.
Requirements
  • Board certification or eligibility in pediatric neurology and the subspecialty of Epilepsy.
  • Excellent qualifications in education and clinical care.
  • Experience in respective clinical area.
  • Proficient in interpreting EEGs and Long-Term Video Monitoring.
  • Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school.
  • Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Pediatrics.
  • Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate fellowship program in Epilepsy.
  • Board Eligible/Board certified.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • BLS certification is required. PALS certification preferred.
