Job Title: Pediatric Psychologist

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Psychologist to join our team. As a Pediatric Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and treatments to children and adolescents with behavioral health needs.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Psychologist to work closely with our neurology team to treat patients diagnosed with epilepsy, PNES, and neuropsychiatric conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the assessment and treatment of somatic symptoms and behavioral health needs, as well as experience working with patients diagnosed with neurological conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective delivery of psychological assessments, consultation, and therapy services to children and adolescents.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, child and adolescent psychiatrists, and behavioral and mental health therapists.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for each patient.
  • Participate in the training of psychology doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows.
  • Conduct clinical supervision and provide support to fellows, interns, psychometrists, students, and other employees.
Requirements:
  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA/CPA accredited program.
  • Completed an APA accredited child internship.
  • Licensed or licensed-eligible in Georgia.
  • Board certification within hospital timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in providing family therapy/counseling.
  • Experience in writing and research.
