The Dalmar Hotel is seeking a dedicated and skilled Bartender to enhance the guest experience at our vibrant poolside bar, Sip&Dip.

As a Bartender, you will be responsible for setting up, preparing, and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring compliance with company policies, brand standards, and local regulations. You will handle guest checks and payments in accordance with cash handling and accounting procedures. It is essential to promptly report any emergencies, accidents, or safety hazards to management.

The ideal candidate should possess a friendly demeanor, an optimistic outlook, and a keen attention to detail. A passion for providing exceptional service and the ability to anticipate guests' needs are crucial. Knowledge of food and beverage operations, along with the ability to maintain service standards, is required. Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to health and safety regulations are also essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a warm greeting
  • Receive beverage orders from guests or restaurant staff
  • Prepare and mix drinks, cocktails, and other beverages according to company standards
  • Ensure the bar area is fully stocked with necessary tools and products
  • Manage inventory and place orders for supplies as needed
  • Serve food items to guests at the bar when appropriate
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area through regular cleaning tasks
  • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities and local attractions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of three years of bartending experience
  • Experience in a high-volume hospitality environment
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Positive interpersonal skills
  • Valid state health and/or alcohol compliance card
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends
