The Business Development Manager is the primary point of contact between Nidec Motor Corporation and key customer accounts in the Memphis area.
The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager is to secure new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding existing relationships with key customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Seek and secure new business opportunities with key customer accounts.
- Maintain and expand existing business with customer accounts.
- Liaise between customer demands and plant demands.
- Create relationships with key accounts to drive future business opportunities.
- Resolve customer issues to their satisfaction.
- Develop a database of customer knowledge to inform sales strategies.
- Work with the Sales Administrator to manage sales forecasts and resolve commercial issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of business disciplines.
- Strong math aptitude.
