About the Role

Brown Brothers Harriman is seeking a highly skilled FX Sales Trader to join our team in New York. As a key member of our sales trading team, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, executing trades, and providing market commentary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sophisticated client relationships and proactively engage to fulfill their currency trading requirements and servicing needs.
  • Build overall credibility and foster trust with clients, preparing and delivering client presentations and analytics to strengthen their understanding of market changes, product developments, and new opportunities.
  • Manage cross-product profitability of client relationships.
  • Manage client executions, obtain price quotes, and accept trade orders on behalf of clients.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on BBH FX products and services.
  • Assemble client-facing teams for strategic client opportunities and engagement.
  • Develop a pipeline of qualified expansion opportunities for existing clients.
  • Develop pricing expertise across BBH's full continuum of products.
  • Utilize and produce data visualizations, analytics, and TCA to identify trends and opportunities for client discussions and enhancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline.
  • Excellent relationship management and client service skills.
  • Experience with international currency markets, including the impact of economic and political factors.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, recommend, and implement solutions.
  • Fluency leveraging various data visualization tools and comfort presenting and interpreting a multitude of data and analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with an attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations.
  • Self-motivation, time management, and an ability to clearly interpret complex scenarios.
