Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our client's growing team in the precast concrete manufacturing industry. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing complex projects, managing the engineering phase, and leading less experienced engineers to complete tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Design and Management: Develop project schedules, generate designs and drawings for precast concrete systems, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Team Leadership: Provide training, guidance, and motivation to employees, and lead less experienced engineers to complete tasks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Interface with sales, estimating, project management, and operations teams, as well as customers, to generate engineering packages and resolve conflicts.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to the Sales Department.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Field Inspections: Conduct field inspections, write Observation Reports, and develop and track field repairs.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Work with the Engineering Manager to generate monthly revenue reports and review costs.

Requirements

Certifications and Education: PE required, Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.

Experience: 10+ years of prior experience required.
