We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Newport Harbor Island Resort. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping team, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Activities: Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and laundry operations.
  • Train and Motivate the Housekeeping Team: Provide guidance, support, and feedback to ensure the housekeeping team delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards of cleanliness.
  • Conduct Inspections and Quality Control: Regularly inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments to meet guest expectations and address any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain Inventory and Supplies: Ensure the housekeeping department has adequate cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Schedule and Coordinate Staff Shifts: Assist in scheduling and coordinating staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and minimize downtime.
  • Handle Guest Inquiries and Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues in a timely manner.
  • Uphold Safety and Sanitation Standards: Ensure a healthy work environment by maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.
Requirements
  • 6 months experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role required.
  • Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual a plus.
  • Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
  • Proficiency with housekeeping software and systems.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
