Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Project Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team in Richmond or Virginia Beach, Virginia. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and leadership to our team of engineers, while leading tasks/projects simultaneously and applying technical knowledge and expertise to develop the team's overall capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate, plan, design, permit, and support management of projects for water/wastewater and conveyance (pipelines, treatment, and pumping facilities).
- Support water and wastewater projects through the planning, design, and construction phases.
- Oversee the development of design calculations, technical report sections, technical design drawings, and specifications.
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, and other audio-visual materials, and participate in client meetings.
- Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality, health, and safety standards, and facilitate coordination for timely completion and submission of projects on time and budget.
- Work independently and as part of a team, with the flexibility to accommodate collaboration with team members across the country.
- Supervise and support the work of others and mentor junior-level engineering and design/drafting staff.
- 8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or a related field of study.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License.
Arcadis offers a competitive salary range of $82,400 - $146,400/year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program, and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance, and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year.
