At McKinstry, we are seeking a skilled Plumbing Project Engineer II to join our Engineering and Design division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-performance buildings that ensure occupant comfort and safety, keep energy/operating costs low, maximize client profitability, and protect the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documents project correspondence, issues, decisions, and directions.
  • Learns and follows McKinstry Engineering standards and procedures.
  • Contributes to tasks on multiple projects and timelines concurrently.
  • Manages own workload to deliver assigned tasks on time and in the budget.
  • Identifies training, coaching, and support needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Performing engineering calculations, design, and drafting tasks.
  • Produces design drawings and building information models for construction.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required or equivalent work experience required. Onsite construction experience considered and welcome.
  • In-office work preferred but we have a flexible work approach.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Knowledge of Revit preferred. Knowledge of other CAD/BIM tools welcome.
  • Engineering in Training Certificate required.

This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. The pay range for this position is $33.57- $46.65 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
