Kaiser Aluminum is a world-renowned leader in quality and innovation. We're seeking an Electrical Project Engineering Lead to join our team in Spokane, Washington.

This role will lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams to develop project scope and requirements. You'll develop and manage project scope, resourcing plan, budget, and schedule. Prepare capital authorizations, develop specifications, and evaluate technical engineering and equipment bid packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer engineering, equipment purchases, and installation contracts
  • Coordinate and manage installations and outages
  • Track and report final project performance, schedule, and cost compliance
  • Review design packages and drawings for compliance with contract documents and Kaiser standards
  • Coordinate with internal Operations, Maintenance, Technical, and Engineering resources to achieve project objectives

Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in BSEE or BSET is required. Minimum of 5 years previous electrical engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with functional and performance-based specification development
  • Familiarity with electrical and control system design, including key documents such as schematics diagrams, single lines, P&ID, and control narratives
