About the Opportunity
The History, Philosophy, Political Science Department at UC Blue Ash College invites applicants for our History Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).
This is a part-time faculty position teaching American or World History survey courses as well as other introductory and advanced history courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned undergraduate courses on a part-time basis.
- May serve as an academic advisor for students and evaluate student coursework.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities.
- Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University-related communications.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's degree (or higher) in History.
- At least one year of teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in history.
- Previous teaching experience in a college setting.
