The Art and Visual Communication Department at UC Blue Ash College invites applications for a part-time Graphic Design Adjunct Faculty position. This is a general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).
Job OverviewAs an Adjunct Faculty member, your primary academic functions will include teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to a diverse set of students. You will be expected to use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems, hold regular office hours to meet with students, and participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.
Responsibilities- Teach assigned undergraduate courses in Graphic Design.
- Evaluate student coursework using best practices.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of your responsibilities.
- Respond to all University-related and student communications in a timely manner.
- Master's degree in a related field such as Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- OR Bachelor of Art or Science degree with three or more years of professional artist/designer experience.
