Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Services Associate to join our team. As a Tax Services Associate, you will work with large and small companies in various industries, developing strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses and challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work on a team that focuses on a wide range of tax specialty areas, including accounting for income taxes, corporate taxation, and individual taxation.
  • Complete tax planning and research, preparing federal and state & local tax returns.
  • Understand tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
Requirements
  • Minimum B.A. or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Accounting major.
  • Travel to assigned client locations is required.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working toward the successful completion of the CPA exam.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively on a team.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $61,600 - $73,500

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
