Key Responsibilities
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all production processes meet the highest standards of food safety and quality, and that all employees understand and adhere to these standards.
  • Production Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the production floor, including equipment maintenance, sanitation, and production planning.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of production personnel, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between production and other departments, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned with production plans and goals.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production-related issues in a timely and effective manner, working collaboratively with other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree in food science, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant work experience, with 2 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of production personnel. Proficiency in food safety and quality principles, with knowledge of GMPs and regulatory requirements.
