About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Manager to join our team at McDonald's. As a Department Manager, you will be responsible for leading shifts and ensuring that customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts and manage assigned departments, including Guest Service, Kitchen, and People departments.
  • Manage Systems, such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, and set goals for your team.
  • Delegate tasks to your team, follow up on progress, and report results back to your team and other managers.
  • Ensure that all service staff are trained in service procedures and that the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.
  • Control food cost and ensure that all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new items added to the menu.
  • Manage staffing and scheduling to meet restaurant sales and profit goals.

Requirements

  • Previous managerial experience, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Positive team player with flexible schedules who likes to have fun.
  • Passion to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
