Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Parking Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that parking policies and procedures meet expectations and established standards, while maximizing profitability and minimizing financial exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage parking operations to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the management of team members, including hiring, training, coaching, and counseling.
  • Plan and direct special event activities, and coordinate with other supervisors and directors as required.
  • Respond to and resolve guest or visitor complaints, vehicle claims, and service discrepancies.
  • Maintain continual communication with property management, site managers, customers, and guests.
  • Keep site managers abreast of any management concerns in a timely and efficient manner and resolve issues as quickly as possible in their absence.
  • Conduct shift briefings and staff meetings to ensure a consistent and effective flow of information.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of equipment and resources.
  • Handle call-offs and assist with scheduling when necessary.
  • Diagnose and perform preventative care maintenance.
Accountability

The Parking Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that parking policies and procedures meet expectations and the management of team members, including assisting in the hiring, training, coaching, and counseling processes, to ensure that performance standards are met.

Communication

Effective communication is vital for this role. The Parking Operations Manager must maintain constant communication with property management, site managers, customers, and guests.

Profitability

While the Parking Operations Manager's primary role is management, they should also be mindful of operational efficiency. The Parking Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing many parts of multiple locations' operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following experience and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
  • One-year supervisory experience required.
  • Prior parking experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, and must be available to work weekends.
  • Must be able to meet Motor Vehicle Requirement (MVR) guidelines.
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and working skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy environment, handle multiple tasks, and work within time constraints.
