About the Role

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team in a key role that will drive process improvements and optimize our distribution center operations. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient processes, analyzing data, and developing solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse operations and reduce costs
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to address them
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows and layouts to improve productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices
  • Conduct time and motion studies to analyze workflows and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our operations remain competitive
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in industrial engineering or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and transportation management systems
