Role Responsibilities: As an Administrator, you will serve as a primary contact for user groups and global teams requiring configuration and upkeep of Salesforce applications, alongside advanced reporting and training.

You will engage directly with system data, lead technical projects or segments of projects, and configure solutions that are user-friendly, scalable, extensible, and maintainable on the Salesforce platform. Your role will involve analyzing requirements and assisting in maintaining implementations for various business entities on the Salesforce (SFDC) platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee CRM operations, including support requests and escalated administrative needs of users, ensuring prompt and comprehensive resolution to technical challenges and business support issues.
  • Hands-on configuration of new and existing features, including user management, roles/profiles, Permission Sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validation rules, workflow rules, email templates, Process Builder, Flows, Lightning Pages, Custom Metadata Types, Custom Settings, and Managed Packages.
  • Focus on enhancing user efficiencies, addressing business/customer challenges, devising innovative solutions, and ensuring data accuracy across the Salesforce system.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to proactively identify, drive, and implement improvements, enhancements, and system customizations that meet Amazon's business needs.
  • Understand the needs of customers, internal sales, and account management teams, translating them into robust business requirements for configuration and development in Salesforce CRM.
  • Participate in the change management process, driving communication efforts across relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and train local and vendor admin resources.

A Day in the Life: As a Salesforce Administrator on the SFSC team, you will manage multiple Salesforce implementations, ensuring they operate securely within defined parameters. You will review end-user requests and propose scalable, out-of-the-box solutions while safeguarding customer data.

You will lead system improvement projects to keep pace with Salesforce releases and inform users of new features as they become available. Additionally, you may guide internal/vendor resources in building enhancements requested by business users while ensuring adherence to best practices and security protocols.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of Salesforce Admin/Configuration experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of direct experience working with engineering teams
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Salesforce Advanced Admin Certification
