Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to contribute to our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images, adhering to department protocols and ensuring safe operation.
  • Perform patient care, documenting exams in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), and ensuring images are archived in PACS.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging, and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement projects.
  • Assist patients with transfer from stretcher, wheelchair, or in an emergent situation, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of related topics, including radiation safety, universal precaution, and proper handling of requisitions.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license and registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Registered or eligible for CT certification by the ARRT or equivalent within the first year after the start of employment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Radiography experience preferred.
