Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Trinity Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality radiographs for interpretation by physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review physician orders and patient information to determine the necessary imaging procedures.
  • Position and prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and other modalities, to obtain high-quality images.
  • Assist radiologists in the administration of contrast media and other procedures as needed.
  • Monitor patient conditions during procedures and respond to any changes or emergencies.
  • Document procedure verification and procedural details using a computerized system.
  • Collect and forward completed diagnostic images to the appropriate location for interpretation and results reporting.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and registration as a Radiographer by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Maintenance of Continuing Education credits (24 CEU in two year period) and other requirements to maintain ARRT certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred.
