Qualifications for Fire Sprinkler Service Technician:
- Preferred possession of a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter card
- Flexibility to work occasional night shifts, weekends, and varied hours as required
- Experience in the installation and repair of Fire Sprinkler systems is essential
- Backflow testing certification in OR/WA is preferred
- Portland Fire Extinguisher Certification is a plus
- Valid Driver's License is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills and a personable attitude
- Preferred Portland and Washington Fitter Card
- Knowledge of NFPA 25, NFPA 13/13D/13R standards
- A proactive approach to professional development and certification
Key Responsibilities for Fire Sprinkler Service Technician:
- Timely submission of all reports and relevant documentation
- Conduct inspections, servicing, repairs, and minor improvements for Fire Sprinkler systems
- Perform backflow testing and necessary repairs
- Service, test, and replace Fire Extinguishers as needed
- Maintain a standard 40-hour workweek with on-call duties for emergencies
- Regularly communicate with the Project Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator regarding inspections or project developments
