Patient Care Call Center Representative

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Patient Care Call Center Agent to join our team at Savas Health. As a Patient Care Call Center Agent, you will provide exceptional patient care experiences through empathetic and effective communication, addressing patient concerns, and facilitating timely resolutions.
Key Responsibilities- Answer inbound patient calls, responding to medical concerns and questions.
- Provide accurate information on medications, treatments, and healthcare services.
- Document patient interactions in electronic health records (EHRs).
- Triage urgent patient concerns, escalating to healthcare providers as needed.
- Schedule appointments and follow-up care.
- Educate patients on self-care and disease management.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure continuity of care.
- High school diploma required.
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) preferred but not required.
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare, preferably in patient care.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to empathize with patients and families.
- Proficiency in EHRs (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Good organizational skills required.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher.
