The Medical Assistant must understand the needs of the practice and support the mission and values of WakeMed.
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a physician
• Perform specific services to meet the personal needs and comforts of patients
• Understand the needs of the practice and support the mission and values of WakeMed
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Graduate Medical Assisting Preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) within 24 months of hire
• 2 Years Clinical - Medical Assistant Preferred
Work Schedule:
Variable, Monday-Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday-Sunday 8am-4pm
Weekend and Call Requirements:
Every Other Weekend, No Call Requirements
