Key Responsibilities:

  1. Estimating:
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate estimates for roofing projects based on specifications, drawings, and site evaluations.
  • Assess project needs, define the scope of work, and identify required materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to secure pricing for materials and subcontracted services.
  • Present estimates to clients, addressing inquiries and providing professional guidance.
  1. Project Management:
  • Manage the planning, scheduling, and execution of roofing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to align project requirements and expectations.
  • Track project progress, budget, and quality to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  1. Client Relations:
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and promptly addressing any concerns.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.

  • Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the roofing industry, focusing on estimating and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and project management applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the roofing industry.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
