Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager at Rutland Regional Medical Center is responsible for overseeing the management and execution of all building utility systems, building infrastructure, interiors, and non-medical equipment repairs and maintenance. This role ensures compliance with the Joint Commission Environment of Care and Life Safety standards. The Manager will administer the computerized maintenance management system to ensure timely completion of requests and corrective actions. Additionally, they will participate in operational and capital budgeting processes and manage assigned budgets. The ideal candidate will have a master level license or certification in a building trade, or an associate degree in engineering, applied science, or a related field. They must have at least 5 years of associated engineering experience and 5 years of management/supervisory/administrative experience. Certification in Healthcare Facilities Management (CHFM) is preferred. The Manager will be responsible for prioritizing multiple tasks, communicating effectively, and maintaining customer focus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute building utility systems, building infrastructure, interiors, and non-medical equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission Environment of Care and Life Safety standards.
- Administer the computerized maintenance management system.
- Participate in operational and capital budgeting processes.
- Manage assigned budgets.
Requirements:
- Master level license or certification in a building trade, or an associate degree in engineering, applied science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of associated engineering experience.
- 5 years of management/supervisory/administrative experience.
- Certification in Healthcare Facilities Management (CHFM) preferred.
Salary Range: $73,500 - $117,500
