Recovery Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Recovery Support Specialist to join our team at True North Recovery Inc.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of recovery principles and be able to provide personalized support to individuals struggling with addiction and mental health issues.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting others and making a positive difference in their community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to clients, helping them set and achieve recovery goals.
- Connect clients with local resources and services, including employment, education, and housing opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, while maintaining professional boundaries.
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
- Lived experience in addiction recovery and 6 months continuous sobriety prior to hire.
- A valid Alaska driver's license and use of personal vehicle are required.
- Able to pass a state and federal background check.
- An estimated salary of $25-$28 per hour, depending on experience.
