Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care by performing delegated basic patient care services.
- Collaborate with the RN and other team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and timely, adhering to organizational policies.
- Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to ensure efficient and productive care delivery.
- Administer medications and narcotics according to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and hourly rounds to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Teach patients and families about self-care and provide education on discharge instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to regulatory standards.
- Current LPN licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia or multi-state privilege.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Two years of LPN experience preferred.
- Specialty certification or membership in a national professional nursing organization is a plus.
