Accounting Assistant Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to join our team at Staffmark in Chatsworth, CA. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for handling accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as performing data entry and other administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Apply strong accounting skills, including handling accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), and journal entries.
  • Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks.
  • Assist the accounting department with various miscellaneous and ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of accounting experience specifically with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in the use of QuickBooks.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
