Hospice Aide-NW IPU

Job Summary

As a Hospice Aide-NW IPU, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with the Mission Statement and S.P.I.R.I.T. Values of Carroll Hospice and Carroll Hospital Center. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide personal care and other health care needs of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and other health care needs of patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families to ensure their needs are met.
  • Work independently to provide safe and thorough care.
  • Exercise tact, initiative, and good judgment in dealing with patients and families.

Requirements

  • Preferred High School Diploma
  • Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant course required.
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
  • CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
  • CHPNA - Certified Hospice Palliative Nurse Assistant
