Biostatistics - Associate and Full Professor Positions in Causal Inference

The University of Pennsylvania is currently seeking candidates for Associate or Full Professor positions in the Department of Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Informatics at the Perelman School of Medicine. The ideal candidates should have expertise in causal inference methods development and applications and must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree.

  • Teaching Responsibilities: Participation in biostatistics PhD and MS training programs.
  • Research Responsibilities: Development of innovative statistical methodology and collaborative research projects within the Perelman School of Medicine.
  • Mentorship: Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring.

As a core member of the Penn Center for Causal Inference (CCI), the faculty will have the opportunity to train and mentor future Causal Inference Researchers.

  • Methodological Research: Tenure track applicants will focus on methodological research with a track record of obtaining grant funding.
  • Clinician-Educator Track: Clinician-Educator track applicants should have productivity in collaborative research and some methodological research.
