Job Summary

SYTE Corporation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Control/Site Safety Officer to oversee the quality control and safety aspects of a critical infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Control Management: Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific quality control plans, inspect and monitor construction activities, and conduct regular site inspections and audits.
  • Site Safety Management: Implement and enforce the site-specific safety plan, conduct daily site safety inspections and risk assessments, and ensure compliance with USACE, OSHA, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive records of quality and safety activities, inspections, and incidents, and prepare and submit quality and safety reports to project management and relevant authorities.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Work closely with project teams, participate in project meetings, and recommend and implement improvements for quality and safety processes based on site observations and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Safety Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction quality control and site safety.
  • Previous experience with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) projects is mandatory.
  • Experience with the Resident Management System (RMS).
  • Proven experience conducting quality control inspections, preparatory meetings, and managing electronic paperwork.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and standards.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations, codes, and guidelines, including OSHA standards.
