Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to enhance our team. This permanent role offers a unique chance for a tech-oriented individual to utilize their expertise in a stimulating and fulfilling environment. The selected candidate will oversee and optimize our IT systems to guarantee peak performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and desktop/laptop systems.
2. Administer and support essential Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware technologies.
3. Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure all systems align with the organization's business needs and user requirements.
4. Manage Active Directory, SCCM, and other critical systems to maintain optimal performance and security.
5. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and security of business applications.
6. Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights while adhering to best practices for privacy and security.
7. Collaborate with vendors for the procurement of new systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
8. Conduct regular audits of systems to ensure efficient and effective operations.
9. Provide training and technical support to users with varying levels of IT knowledge.
10. Participate in planning and executing future IT projects, including hardware and software upgrades.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
2. At least 3 years of experience in IT administration, particularly with Active Directory and O365 management.
3. Strong understanding of systems and networking software, hardware, and protocols.
4. Experience with scripting and automation tools is preferred.
5. Proven ability to develop and implement IT strategies and plans.
6. Expertise in helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including security, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to analyze complex data and devise effective solutions.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues clearly.
9. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
10. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
11. Relevant professional certifications such as MCSA, CCNA, or VCP are advantageous.
