Full-Time Homeless Support Professional

PATH is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Homeless Support Professional to join our Interim Housing team at the Stuart Hotel location.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will work collaboratively with our onsite case management team to ensure the overall safety of the interim housing site. This includes monitoring facilities and grounds for concerns, building rapport with participants to engage them in maintaining safety, and providing assistance and support during crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities- Safety Monitoring: Conduct regular rounds of the facility and grounds, reporting any discrepancies or concerns to management.
- Crisis Intervention: Utilize de-escalation strategies and non-violent crisis intervention techniques to respond to security and crisis situations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the onsite case management team to provide support to program participants.
- Documentation: Assist in drafting written documentation and correspondence regarding site safety and security.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of safety protocols and crisis intervention techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with vulnerable populations and/or security and/or de-escalation/nonviolent crisis intervention is highly desirable.
