We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated Manufacturing Engineer to enhance our operations and support our growth.

Job Description:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at Brava Roof Tile, you will play a key role in optimizing our manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and implement production systems that meet our rigorous standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products, ensuring compliance with engineering principles and safety regulations.
  • Analyze and improve existing processes using lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma principles.
  • Coordinate with the production team to implement new systems and troubleshoot issues in the manufacturing process.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and standard operating procedures for engineering and manufacturing operations.
  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet quality standards using A3, 8Ds, and other lean manufacturing tools.
  • Assist in the training of manufacturing personnel on new technologies and equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Polymer, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new programs.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and project management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Effective communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing engineering role is a plus.
  • CAD software proficiency is a plus.
  • Polymer processing knowledge is a plus.

Starting Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
