The Associate Director of Career Strategy is a key member of the Career Strategy team, providing leadership, career counseling, and career development support to students and alumni of the W&L Law School community. This role involves delivering career-related programming, offering individualized career advice, and fostering relationships with employers, alumni, and colleagues to support the mission of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Counsels law students and alumni on job search strategies and professional development.
  • Develops and presents educational programming on career-related topics.
  • Collaborates with the Assistant Dean and law school leadership on strategic matters related to the growth and management of the office.
  • Acts as the primary resource for alumni seeking advice on career strategy.
  • Assists with training and supervision of other roles in the office.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor degree required.
  • Prior career services or recruitment experience in a legal or higher education setting expected or equivalent experience.
  • Strong commitment to student engagement essential.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to disseminate timely and accurate information.
  • Ability to take initiative and exhibit strong attention to detail.
